  • Voyagers attending the 2nd Trip will have the chance to win the FIRST TRIP Obelisk Component.
  • Yuga Labs is expanding the list of playable regions in First Trip, allowing players from all over the world to participate in the event.

Getting to the Second Trip

To begin, Voyagers with Otherdeeds can join the 2nd Trip if they get there on time and before the main story starts. Also, Voyagers will be able to bring a guest with them on their second trip. Once the 2nd Journey has reached its limit, no more voyagers will be able to join. All in all, Voyagers will be able to use the experience before guests who only have guest credentials.

For Second Trip, the login procedure will be identical to that of the First Trip. The links will be accessible on the day of the second journey. Win 1st Trip Obelisk Fragment at 2nd Trip Event

As mentioned on Twitter and by the Community Team, Voyagers attending the 2nd Trip will have the chance to win the FIRST TRIP Obelisk Component. This update will affect all Otherdeeds saved in the associated wallet, but if you already have the FIRST TRIP Obelisk component, the metadata will remain the same. After the event, tourists can view the obelisk fragments at Otherside.xyz/my-otherdeeds.

The playable regions for the event are expanding beyond the First Trip, which means more Voyagers from around the world can participate. A comprehensive list of the covered regions will be provided in a forthcoming blog update.

Assistance will be provided to Warm.xyz for the second trip, with all Otherdeeds stored in the cold storage wallet being transferred to the hot wallet associated with the event.

Yuga Labs: Latest Explorations

Yuga Labs is also expanding the list of playable regions in First Trip. This allows players from all over the world to participate in the event.

The First Trip, a tech demo of the Otherside metaverse, took place in July 2022, engaging over 4,300 players in an interactive experience. Furthermore, the trip allowed them to tour, dance, and learn basic moving dynamics in the virtual world.

The BAYC-based Otherside metaverse, which debuted last year, is a 3D virtual environment. Its Voyager’s Journey is a story-driven adventure game set in the Otherside universe that revolves around a mysterious Obelisk.

This is just one of several initiatives developed by Yuga Labs in recent years. Examples include the TwelveFold NFT auction with over $16 million collected.

Other initiatives include the donation of the CryptoPunk #110 NFT to the Centre Pompidou as part of Yuga Labs’ Punks Legacy Project. Another one includes the release of Dookey Dash, a skill-based mint game, and the Sewer Pass NFT mint.
