Following Animoca Brands and Planet Hollywood Group’s existing joint venture, Meta Hollywood, both companies are collaborating to launch a members-only non-fungible token (NFT) club in Los Angeles.

Quick Takes:

  • Animoca Brands and Planet Hollywood collaborate to launch an NFT club in Los Angeles.
  • For entry, members must mint an NFT in one of four membership tiers, with fees ranging from $2.5k to $7.5k.
  • Benefits of the digital assets and club include access to closed amenities and virtual community chats.

What’s Behind the Doors of LA’s Upcoming CLUB 3

Animoca Brands and Planet Hollywood are working together to launch “a first of its kind private club reimagined exclusively for the Web3 community” this year.

Today, Animoca took to Twitter to share the good news about CLUB 3 for the first time:

CLUB 3 aims to bridge the gap between virtual memberships and real-world relationships. Meanwhile, it will replicate the success of The Sandbox and other NFT-related goods.

At the core of the private NFT club will be ClubID — a new identity, membership, and commerce platform. It aims to power Meta Hollywood’s communities and is set to launch in Beta this year.

Moreover, the platform will integrate Web3 mechanics like a DAO, such as community voting, perks, and promotions.

Depending on membership tiers, users can also gain notable benefits, including access to closed amenities and community chats where members virtually interact.

However, for all members to open the physical doors of Club 3 and enjoy the 10,000 sq2 facility, they must first mint a Club 3 NFT in four tiers of membership: Globa, Corporate, Social, and Founding. Such choices depend on personal preference and what they want from experience.

Those interested better get saving regardless. Membership fees aren’t cheap, varying from $2.5k – $7.5k a pop.
