Adventuring Into BAYC’s Inaugural Comic Book Series

When Bored Ape members think the community can’t get any more exciting, following the hype of Dookey Dash, Lick the Toad, and The Summoning, the OG NFT project surprises members with a new endeavor — its first edition, Swamp-related animated comic series: “Issue 1 #Key”.

BAYC took to Twitter to share the excitement of launching its first-ever graphic novel:

The comic series is a teaser for getting community members excited before The Summoning started. It acts as a flashback of happenings in the Dookey Dash sewers, to keep members in the loop and enticed.

For this reason, the comic series showcases the winner of the Key everyone’s been fighting over, from Jimmy the Monkey’s *ahem*. Then, the key opening a mysterious box, revealing a power source (which looks like a golden bone). The keyholder then touches the bone, which sets off a massive orb that looks like it was created by Gary the Dog Prophet, and the rest is history…

Well, until members partake in The Summoning and find out what’s next in store.

Stay tuned for the next installment of the comic series, which expects to reveal the outcome of BAYC’s most recent event and its impact on the community.
