Ralph Lauren, an American fashion company, has announced the opening of a luxury-focused concept store in Miami’s Design District. The store will accept crypto payments, marking the first time a Ralph Lauren store has done so.

Ralph Lauren Partners with Poolsuite for In-Person Event and NFT Gifting

To begin, the store will offer items from the company’s Men’s Purple and Women’s Collection luxury labels. Additionally, it will offer unique handbags and accessories exclusive to the Miami store. All items will be available for purchase with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Dogecoin, and other cryptocurrencies via BitPay.

Now, the fashion store is partnering with the Miami-based Web3 community Poolsuite. The firm plans to gift all members a Poolsuite x Ralph Lauren NFT to unlock access to an exclusive in-person event. The Miami storefront will host “a series of innovative and immersive moments” over the year. It will feature interactive screens that let users browse the brand’s catalogue and book styling appointments.

Miami’s Vibrant Crypto Scene Fosters Ralph Lauren’s Web3 Expansion

Miami’s vibrant crypto community has made it a hotbed for Web3 companies, and Ralph Lauren’s Miami storefront will serve as a focal point for its burgeoning Web3 push. Yuga Labs is one of the city’s most prominent Web3 companies. Miami is also the location for the annual Bitcoin Conference and Art Basel Miami Beach events.

The fashion brand plans to kick off its immersive customer experiences in late April with a three-day event at a waterfront private estate. Moreover, the event will feature several Web3 activations for customers, influencers, and Poolsuite x Ralph Lauren NFT holders. While further specifics regarding future immersive events have yet to be announced, they will almost certainly target Miami’s crypto community.

Also, Miami recently announced a series of 5,000 Miami-themed Ethereum NFTs in collaboration with: 

  • Salesforce, 
  • Mastercard, and 
  • TIME.

The fashion brand’s Web3 push comes during a bear market for crypto and NFTs. However, established luxury brands have continued to offer their products to high-impact customers via blockchain-based tools without caring much about the bear market. Miami’s thriving crypto community and its support for Web3 activities make it an ideal location for Ralph Lauren’s Web3 push.
