Prada’s New NFT Collection is Out, and It Has a Holiday Theme

The first Timecapsule NFT collection came out in December 2019, marking the holiday season. The latest collection is the 7th edition of Prada’s series of NFT collections. This edition has 50 NFTs, and it includes physical Prada sweaters made of Merino wool.

Quick Take:

  • Prada Timecapsule NFT collections make a comeback after two years.
  • The new Timecapsule NFT collection launching on the Ethereum blockchain also features Prada’s physical clothing collection.
  • The month-long event will allow customers to buy limited edition items included with NFTs.

On December 1, the luxury fashion house will release an exclusive holiday-inspired gender-neutral sweater along with a free NFT.

The New Prada NFT Collection is a Unique Offering

The NFT collection, which also includes sweaters, has red and white garments. These sweaters are made with the Norwegian jacquard stitch technique and have the brand’s logo along with the word “December” on the back. Not only this but, the owners of the NFTs can get access to exclusive experiences and Prada events. So, the owners can get invitations to Prada Mode, and Prada Extends events.

NFT holders from the first six drops will also get an exclusive chance to attend Prada Extends Miami on the sidelines of Art Basel 2022.

Every Prada NFT will have a serial number, and the physical item accompanying the NFT will have the same number. This way, the new NFT collection represents the connection between the physical and virtual worlds.

In this month-long event, the 50 items will be available for 24 hours only. This collection and event are under the supervision of Prada Crypted. This is Prada’s NFT division, and it works with Web3 technology and builds solutions to bring Prada customers closer to the Web3 world.

In the previous month’s events, the Prada NFT holders were able to attend the Prada Fashion show in Milan. They were also given a private tour of the clothing collection.
