Balmain, the high-end fashion house, brings out the Balmain Thread, an NFT membership program. The program is created by the premium NFT minting platform MintNFT. The Balmain thread debuted at the Balmain Festival during Paris Fashion Week on September 28.

As mentioned, the first members were asked to join during the third Balmain Festival, which took place on September 28 and was a highlight of Paris Fashion Week every year. Later this year, The Balmain Thread will launch, and it will eventually be home to 10,000 of the house’s most loyal customers and fans.
Additionally, members of the Balmain Thread community do not need any knowledge of crypto or blockchains work in order to be creatively involved with the house.
This is to note that memberships will be created on the carbon-friendly XRP Ledger blockchain, and MINTNFT will ensure the highest level of security by using its own video verification technology to prove authenticity.
NFT MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM WITH A CHARITY MOTIVE
Following in the footsteps of other high-end fashion brands, Balmain is also entering the Web3 space for the second time now, with a unique membership program. The Balmain Thread is named after the fashion house’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing. The vision is to create and share multiple creations knitting together an unbroken story.
The festival’s guest donations, as well as profits from merchandise and food sales, will benefit RED’s work to end AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The community members joining the platform with the NFT program will get access to exclusive events and special house collections. They will also get to explore unique NFT offerings personifying the action of binding all the members together with a single thread.

BECOMING A PART OF THE BALMAIN THREAD COMMUNITY
Users can take three routes to join the Balmain community and festival events. The first one is by attending the festival. Here users will get the opportunity to become members after receiving their tickets. Another way is to watch the live stream of the event. From here, attendees can get access to the joining links.
The third method is via joining the community through the Moment App. Given that, MintNFT provides this application which enables attendees to convert one moment of the festival into their own NFT.
