Louvre Showcases Bored Apes, Marks History

Two hundred and thirty years have passed since the world’s most renowned museum, Louvre, opened its doors for the first time. Now, in the present day, this same institution unveils and exhibits new pieces of art to intrigue and gain excitement among visitors.

The Louvre’s ongoing relevance as a hub of artistic innovation and discovery continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Consequently, a collection of BAYC and MAYC took center stage as the museum’s most recent masterpieces.

BAYC and MAYC fans have been taking to Twitter to rant about this unique art event:

As a result, visitors have been flocking to the Louvre to see Yuga Labs’ NFTs close and personal — marveling at the apes’ vivid colors and intricate details, bringing the virtual creators to life.

Nevertheless, the display is more of a testament than viewing unique digital art up-close. Rather, the museum is showcasing artworks from a project with a unique culture for the first time. One which has a distinctive branding and a sense of exclusivity. Some of these NFTs sell for millions of dollars as a result.

Another perk of such digital assets includes having involvement in philanthropic efforts, like raising funds for charity and supporting numerous causes.

Consequently, this exhibition is a powerful testament to history. It highlights the growing impact of digital art in Web3 culture. Moreover, recognizing NFTs as a legitimate form of art for the first time and highlighting their benefits.
