NounsDAO Greenlights Proposal For An Exciting Animated Film

NounsDAO, a web3 native community, approved a plan to produce an animated movie with NFT characters. The project has a $125,000 budget and will be developed in several tale acts.

Quick Take:

  • NounsDAO is producing an animated movie with NFT characters and partnering with Atrium to expand its ecosystem.
  • NounsDAO is a DAO where members can propose plot arcs and suggestions, and one noun equals one vote.
  • The DAO’s collaborations with other web3 organizations, such as ComicsDAO and Titan Comics, and its upcoming ArtBall NFT collection, are expanding its reach.

NounsDAO: Producing an Animated Movie with NFT Characters

NounsDAO, the primary governing body of Nouns, based on a fork of compound governance, pays attention to the animated film. The daily noun auctions generate ETH revenue that goes to the NounsDAO treasury, where one noun equals one vote.

Members with at least one noun can propose plot arcs and suggestions for the following chapters. The approval of further creative projects expands the NounsDAO ecosystem.

Collaborating with Atrium and Other Web3 Organizations

The proposal joins forces with Atrium, a community of independent web3 artists and creators, to generate a series of episodic material. Atrium’s creatives will write, produce, and animate “Nouns: A Movie” in several plot acts.

Atrium stated that they haven’t seen other decentralized enterprises showing dedication to creating high-quality features. The pilot will be made public in 90 days, and NounsDAO will determine whether to continue supporting the project.

Atrium’s 3DPrintGuy made a short film with funding from an earlier NounsDAO application. Collectible NFTs made of all key characters from the short are available.

The NounsDAO community supported further artistic endeavors, diversifying its ecosystem. It developed a series with ComicsDAO and comic book publisher Titan Comics. In December, the second ArtBall NFT collection from the Australian Open tennis competition will be available.

In conclusion, NounsDAO’s decision to produce an animated movie with NFT characters expands its ecosystem. The partnership with Atrium and its commitment to high-quality features show dedication to providing value to its members and the web3 community. The pilot of “Nouns: A Movie” and further creative projects will emerge from this innovative community.
