Malibu’s Web3 Wishlist to the USPTO
The Absolut Company is working toward launching virtual versions of one of its world-famous alcoholic favorites, Malibu.
The brand’s trademark application to the USPTO offers NFTs of virtual beverages, bars and restaurants that open up home deliveries, and mobile app software.
In addition, Malibu intends to create cloud-based solutions for cryptocurrency and NFT trading, storage, and transfers.
Malibu will also be working toward launching an NFT marketplace for its digital media and virtual assets.
Drink Brands Pouring Out Web3 Ideas
Malibu is no stranger to the Web3 world. The famous alcohol brand previously held a virtual reality experience at the Coachella festival, offering users Malibu goods and the chance to win NFT wearables through Absolut.Land in Decentraland.
Other branded beverage are also registering trademarks in the Web3 realm. Del Monte recently filed numerous trademark applications in the Metaverse and NFT space, among others.
