Decentraland claims this year’s Metaverse Music Festival will be “bigger and better”, despite last year’s festival having 80 virtual artists and 50,000 attendees

Decentraland is getting ready to host this year’s Metaverse Music Festival involving Web3’s “top music talents” on November 10-13.

To attend, you can head to the Decentraland metaverse and access the virtual musical space for free—no tickets or VR headsets are necessary, and everyone’s welcome.

About the Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival

Last year, Decentraland’s music festival was dubbed one of the “most extensive metaverse experiences on the planet,” and it’s no wonder. 3Lau, Paris Hilton, Deadmau5 and Alison Wonderland joined the metaverse to perform using Web3 technology like never before, alongside more than 70 other artists.

Around 50,000 attendees joined the previous metaverse festival to get their hands on free NFTs, airdrops, giveaways and more. As a result, 11,204 NFTs were given away to the luckiest festivalgoers.

This year, Decentraland aims for higher heights. Though the official lineup is yet to be announced, the virtual destination claims it will be “a weekend to remember”.

On the 3D virtual reality platform, you can build your own avatar, enjoy the musical experience, and explore Web3. You may even buy, trade, or sell NFTs alongside other digital and physical goods—or win some!

To attend the event, you only need yourself, a desktop computer/laptop (the metaverse does not function on mobile applications), and a crypto wallet—we recommend you install Metamask.

Decentraland does not require much as a guest user. You can explore the digital world by opening the website on a browser. 

Then, you can create an avatar however you wish, give your character a name, confirm your legal details, accept the terms and conditions, and enjoy four days of festival fun.
