Yesterday, Yuga Labs released a roster of PFPs eligible to partake in the “Second Trip” of its metaverse, the Otherside. Specific non-fungible token (NFT) projects cherry-picked by the NFT icons will have the opportunity to join in on an eagerly-awaited adventure.

Quick Takes:

  • Yuga Labs grants numerous NFT projects the chance to join the Otherside’s second trip.
  • Once entering the metaverse, all PFP NFTs will turn into astronaut-like characters dubbed the “Voyagers”, and given a chance to partake in a 2-hour narrative storyline.
  • Collectors of the OG digital collectibles can enter the metaverse starting from 12 pm (EDT) tomorrow.
A look into the Otherside’s Second Trip

NFTs Playable on Yuga Labs’ Otherside

Yuga Labs has, yet again, been on a mission. This time, collaborating with numerous leading NFT projects beyond its ecosystem. As a result, as of tomorrow, all the chosen collectibles can have entry into the Otherside metaverse to partake in its Second Trip.

The supported projects encompass:

Members of all the above projects will easily be able to transfer their PFPs on display-like faces of spacesuit-esque characters dubbed “Voyagers” that can explore the Otherside’s virtual realm starting 12 pm (EDT) tomorrow.

Once joining, all new participants can expect to be launched into “Infinity Space” alongside other newbies. Once reaching total capacity of 10,000, the Voyagers can roam the Otherside’s world.

The Otherside’s Second Trip – What to Expect

All NFT collectors attending can finally enjoy insights into Yuga’s metaverse and experiments with the in-game mechanics — without having to purchase a Yuga Labs’ NFT that sell for millions.

The Otherside team took to Twitter to share the news about what’s in store for the NFT enthusiasts:

Unlike the Otherside’s first trip, the second trip entails a 2-hour narrative storyline that consists of exploration following being in the Biogenic Swamp. Similarly, though, all players will still have to beware of the creatures native to the metaverse, the gigantic Kodas.

All 10,000 NFT members outside of the Bored Ape Yacht Club community can finally see for themselves what all the hype is about.

An official livestream will also be available during the event.
