Unpacking Azuki Elementals NFTs
Said to be Chiru Labs’ “most challenging artistic project to date”, Elementals are an enticing collection of 20,000 anime-inspired digital artworks. The visionary tetralogy Tenn, Timugi, Njoo and Skyrow sculpt the highly-anticipated collectibles with creativity and prevision.
The digital assets segregate into four alluring domains depending on which assets collectors receive: Fire, Earth, Lightning and Water. Each category adds a charismatic flavor to the world of Azuki.
Already, 10,000 existing Azuki NFT owners were airdropped a token for an Elementals NFT during the ‘Follow the Rabbit‘ community event in Las Vegas on Friday. The other half of the assets are available for Azuki and BEANZ members not fortunate to attend the event and the general public.
The auction bell for the remaining 10,000 Elementals will chime twenty minutes before the public sale at 9.20 am (PT). Those holding Azuki NFTs can bag these artistic items twenty minutes before the general release at 9 am. BEANZ holders, on the flip side, can purchase the assets ten minutes after, at 9.10 am (PT).
Through the Dutch Auction format, the sales start at 2 ETH. Prices drop by 0.1 ETH every 5 minutes until each collectibles are snatched up. Once swept off the auction, Azuki will close the curtains, and the assets will likely be sold and traded for higher prices on secondary marketplaces.
Azuki’s Best Bits
Since launching in January 2022, Azuki has carved a notable niche with its star-studded project of 10,000 assets adorned with randomized traits.
The most desirable assets sell for six figures following the project’s success. With the profits made, Chiru unfolded its metaverse, ‘Hilumia‘, providing a virtual playground for community members. Azuki and BEANZ holders can enter Slowpoke’s Toy Haven, Ember Square, Golden Skate Park, and the Garden Express. What’s more, the digital land boasts a toy store, arcade center, gym, and love competition — a little something for everyone.
CryptoSlam reports the trading volume of Azuki exceeding $1 billion, fueling great expectations for the upcoming collection. Although Azuki’s floor price has sunk from 17.5 ETH to 14.99 ETH, its consecutive endeavor BEANZ is currently the top trending collection on OpenSea. A recent $7 million Ordinals deal also indicates a possible NFT market rebirth. Thus, a promising time for Chiru Labs and NFT collectors!
