Bringing “Matriarchy Now” to Light
Marking the first collaboration between Pussy Riot’s co-founder, Nadya Tolokonnikova, and Rolling Stone’s artist, von Unwerth, the project is a “reflection on art and sexuality”.
“Matriarchy Now” is a series of 11 NFTs that envisions a world of gender equality.
The collection’s standout is a 1/1 cover featuring the Rolling Stone logo, which will showcase at the Web3 hub at The Oculus at the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan on January 11 at 7:00 pm (ET).
von Unwerth will issue the auction winner a physical art print of her photography, and all digital assets will be available on the Coinbase NFT marketplace during this time.
last but not least, the proceeds from the auction will also go towards supporting women’s reproductive rights.
