Looney Tunes and Funko Launches a Digital Pop! Cards Collection

Funko is partnering with Looney Tunes to launch the first series of NFT Digital Pop! packs featuring Looney Tunes characters. The famous animated cartoon series included in the pack are Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, and Daffy Duck, among others. Following the same trend as before, Funko is also giving the NFT buyers physical figures.

Quick Take :

  • Funko is back with another Digital Pop! pack on the WAX blockchain.
  • Looney Tunes and Funko come together to launch limited-edition NFTs.
  • The Digital Pop! launches at 17:00 UTC on 20th September.

The When and How of the Pack Drop

To get on board with the limited edition NFTs, users have to create an account on Droppp and join the waitlist. All the purchased NFTs or packs will go into the Droppp account, and from here, the account owners can transfer them into the WAX wallet.

Based on the participants in the queue or joining list, everyone will get a random position one hour before the launch. As the position approaches, the user can buy their packs.

Two types of packs are available;

  • Standard Packs consisting of 5 NFTs with 15,000 total minted are available for $9.99 USD.
  • Premium Packs consisting of 15 NFTs, again with 15,000 total minted, costing $29.99.

There is a minimum order requirement of $60, and the users can pay via credit or debit card or even use Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Looney Toons Digital Pop: Contents of the Packs and Redeemable System

Each Standard pack contains 5 Digital Pop! Cards and every Premium pack has 15 Digital Pop! cards. Moreover, these cards have eight different categories in terms of their rarity. Within these, owners of the premium packs have a higher chance of getting a 1-on-1 or Series Coin NFT.

What a person will get in the pack depends on their luck. Unpacking a legendary or Grail NFT is like winning the lotto. Plus, users holding the NFTs until January 18th, 2023, will get a special redemption token. They can exchange the special token for a limited-edition physical figurine of the rare NFT.

For the entire collection, only five special physical figurines are available. Other figurines include 1635 Road Runners, Yosemite Sam, and Foghorn Leghorn. In addition to this, 999 Wile E. Coyotes are also available.

Even if the users collect a common, uncommon, rare, and epic Digital Pop!, they are eligible to receive a physical figurine of Freddy Funko. And this time, Freddy Funko adorns the dress of Bugs Bunny, which is unexpected but also exciting.
