The newly announced footwear collection represents a fusion of streetwear and artistic elements with inspiration from Snoop Dogg’s career. Moreover, it includes streetwear silhouettes, and each shoe has a playful image. Also, it features Dr. Bombay and other symbols from his professional journey.

In addition, a standout piece is present within the assortment. It is an updated repetition of the Skechers Uno. Also, it highlights leopard print laces and an imprint of Dr. Bombay. However, the collection extends its scope beyond footwear with the collector’s edition capsule.

Snoop Dogg’s Exploration into the NFT World

The new collection follows the release of the OG Capsule on August 1, signalling a partnership between Skechers and Snoop Dogg.

The collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Skechers aligns with the broader trend of celebrities leveraging their influence in both traditional and digital spaces. Given that, the increasing popularity of digital media and the growing importance of social media is driving this trend. Celebrities are using their platforms to promote their own brands and products, as well as to collaborate with other brands and businesses.

Snoop Dogg’s collaboration with Happi Co. for a line of ice cream named Dr. Bombay is a perfect example of this trend. The ice cream is again inspired by Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay. The collaboration allows Snoop Dogg to promote his NFT to his fans, while also expanding his reach into the food industry.

What’s more, the new footwear collection showcases a fusion of modern culture and fashion, connecting the physical and digital worlds.
